Let us hurry to love people; they depart so quickly

In 6 weeks it will have been 10 years since my beloved grandmother died.  She was my second mom and my friend.

Whenever I get a chance to talk to an elderly, it is a bit like talking to my grandma.  She’s gone, but I look for her constantly.  Wisdom and ability to tell amazing stories based on their long lived, rich lives is what draws me the most to elderly, so I’m so happy and thankful that I could be around and talk a bit to this woman…

A polish priest and a poet, father Jan Twardowski once said: “Let us hurry to love people; they depart so quickly” (other translated version “Let us love people now they leave us so fast”)
